What if my outdoor event is rained out?

For safety, installations may be adjusted in the event of high winds, heavy rain, or extreme heat. Clients are responsible for providing cover, tenting, or an indoor backup location if needed. Please note that weather-related changes or cancellations do not affect the non-refundable retainer.

Why is there a non-refundable booking retainer?

Accepted Answer

A non-refundable retainer of 45% is required to secure your event date. This fee covers preparation, materials, and the time needed to plan and reserve your installation.

A 45% non-refundable deposit is required for all bookings, including selections from existing inventory. While these pieces are pre-designed, they are part of a limited-use collection that can only be installed and dismantled a finite number of times before their integrity is impacted.

This deposit secures your selected designs, reserves your installation date and time, and ensures access to available pieces within their limited usage lifecycle.

Final payment is due prior to installation.

Question 3

If I co-create a custom design for my event, can I keep it afterward?

All artwork is created as part of the rental collection, even when custom-designed for your event. The labor, materials, and craftsmanship involved make each piece a valuable work of art. If you’d like to own a piece as a keepsake, I’m happy to provide a custom purchase option at a rate that reflects its full value as a one-of-a-kind artwork.

Many clients choose keepsakes to commemorate a special moment, and I’d be delighted to work with you on creating one.

Why can’t a price be set before we plan the design?

Each installation is unique, and pricing depends on size, materials, and customization. A personalized quote is provided once your vision is discussed.

Question 5

Is there always a travel fee cost?

Accepted Answer

No. Events located beyond a 20-mile radius from Wellingmoor Ave, Louisville, KY 40218 may incur a travel fee of $1 per mile to cover transportation and setup time. The fee will be calculated and added to the total project cost.

Question 6

What is the cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

The booking retainer is non-refundable. If you cancel for any reason, the retainer covers the reservation of your event date, preparation, and materials. No additional fees will be charged. If you reschedule, the retainer may be applied to the new date, subject to availability.
